Meet Joe, the dude who, despite not really loving his job all that much, wears a “I Love My Job” T-shirt to work every day. Let’s just say that Joe’s job cleaning porta potties is indeed not exactly the most attractive of professions.
Joe is a trooper, nonetheless. Even though he clearly hates the smell of stale urine and the sight of overflowing toilets, he still arrives at work with a smile on his face (It might be stuck that way from the fumes) and a poop on his shoe.
But the worst part of Joe’s job is when people fart so badly that it starts a fire. You indeed read that correctly. Joe has had to put out more than a few flaming farts in his time. Apparently, the combination of gas and the chemicals used to clean the porta potties can be a volatile mix.
Joe still defiantly dons that “I Love My Job” t-shirt in the face of everything. Perhaps he is delusional, or perhaps he is just trying to convince himself that he truly loves his job. In any case, we have to respect his dedication (and his sense of humor).
So the next time you see a guy wearing an “I Love My Job” t-shirt, just remember: he might not actually love it that much. But at least he’s got a good story to tell.
